Ground Penetrating Radar Survey Technicians (x2 openings)

GPR Survey Techs will be responsible for running GPR scans at select sites nationwide. This is a field role that primarily involves driving a vehicle (typically a side-by-side or pickup truck, depending on the site) along a predetermined route while towing the GPR Sleds. Sites may range from wooded terrain to cleared and graded sites. Off-roading experience would be a plus. Deployments last anywhere from a few days to several weeks at a time (typically no more than 2 consecutive weeks). While most of this position is in the field, project deployment starts in Winchester, VA and involves driving the company truck with equipment to the job site (clean driving record required).

Responsibilities may include:

• Field engineering/repair - while equipment is fairly robust, repairs are sometimes needed. A solution may or may not be readily apparent, and improvisation may be required.

• Daily reporting & data uploading - data is processed in-office, and daily uploading of radar and GPS data will be required.

• Product Development - as Zeus Geotechnic utilizes custom equipment, it is beneficial to get input from GPR techs on how the equipment functions and suggested improvements. An engineering or technical background is helpful but not required - a mindset towards innovation is highly desired.
